Well, Night 2 went just as wonderfully as Night 1. My ladies who run the show both the education part and the play part did an absolutely fantastic job. The fish made its first appearance, and the kids went wild. There was a 6-foot English parrot perched in the baptistry. The pirates used rock-paper-scissors to cast lots, and Jonah gave everyone goosebumps with how moving the final song was.
All in all, a very good night.

Colin has missed his true calling. . .he's the best actor up there. . .except for Jennie and her "footing" comment. He totally cracked me up--and if you heard one child in particular laughing obnoxiously loudly--it was my son. Colin did him in.
Where is my night 3 update???? Last night was the Colin show. . .tonight was the Jennie show. . .her asking Jonah if he'd like a spot of tea was hilarious.
But NOT as hilarious at Jonah coming down that tongue slide. VBS gold right there.
