Success at Last

The smell of sweet success...actually it smells a bit like cumin. I tried once again to cook this evening, and I actually succeeded. I made Mexican Ground Beef over Polenta. I made it with ground turkey, and it took me a couple of tries to not boil over the polenta, but it is actually edible. Woohoo!!!!! Next week, I think I am going to try to make Tofu Tacos. Check back to see how that goes.

Okay, Jennifer. I love you. Truly I do. And I may not be able to solve your tattoo conundrum, but this I've got whipped.

The problem is that you are trying to make tacos with tofu.

You are in TEX-MEX country. YOu CANNOT make tacos with tofu. It is an abomination. I MIGHT cave to some turkey tacos. . .even, heaven help me, FISH tacos. . .but not tofu. Tacos should not jiggle, gel, or wobble.
